It’s gone, the wisdom tooth I mentioned.  The appointment was at about 2:30, and of course I spent much of the day fighting my fear, and doing pretty good most of the time.  I worked on my Beth Moore Bible Study lesson, hoping to be in good shape tomorrow so I can go.

So we got to the oral surgeon at about 2:30, and was out of there by about 3…no big deal at all, and in my case, not much pain, so I’m grateful.  Getting the bleeding to stop was a little challenging, but I used the teabag suggestion, a teabag soaked in warm water, then wrapped in a thin layer of gauze, and left it in place for an hour.  Seemed to do the trick.  Have been managing the minor pain with Ibuprofen so far.

So, as usual, I was a “big baby” about something that didn’t turn out to be such a big deal, in fact, my Knight in Shining Armor hubby came home from work to drive me there.  I don’t think he minded too much…and he was so nice not to say “I told you so” when it didn’t turn out to be as bad as I thought.
